Call for Abstracts

Guidelines for Abstract Submission for Posters & Videos

  1. AT LEAST ONE OF THE AUTHORS SHOULD BE A MEMBER / SHOULD HAVE APPLIED FOR MEMBERSHIP OF THE ISMSICS. Please mention the name of the ISMSCIS member(s) while submitting the abstract.
  2. IT IS MANDATORY FOR THE PRESENTING AUTHOR TO REGISTER FOR THE CONFERENCE TO BE ABLE TO PRESENT THE WORK.
  3. Non ophthalmic co-authors can be included (if relevant).
  4. The work can be in any ophthalmic subspeciality, and not necessarily related to cataract.
  5. All awards will be given to the presenting author only.
  6. No change in the presenting author will be allowed during the session.
  7. The abstract for Poster should include the Title, Aim, Methods, Results, Discussion and Conclusion in no more than 250 words.
  8. The abstract for Video should be in no more than 150 words (unstructured); mentioning 3 key learning points.
  9. Any conflicts of interest and all relevant ethical aspects pertaining to the study should be clearly declared.
  10. Your session during the conference, along with the presentation, may be video-taped for inclusion in the proceedings of the conference or media promotions.

Guidelines for Abstract Submission for “THE EUREKA LAB”

  1. This session will include 5-minute presentations of well-thought-out solutions / innovations to existing problems or research questions.
  2. AT LEAST ONE OF THE PRESENTERS SHOULD BE A MEMBER / SHOULD HAVE APPLIED FOR MEMBERSHIP OF THE ISMSICS. Please mention the name of the ISMSCIS member(s) while submitting the abstract.
  3. IT IS MANDATORY FOR THE PRESENTING AUTHOR TO REGISTER FOR THE CONFERENCE TO BE ABLE TO PRESENT THE WORK.
  4. Non ophthalmic co-authors can be included (if relevant).
